Note below is a perfect example of how to check and record the inspection of quality of espresso that has been completed. Barista basic level can complete check the following guidelines for each variable, and a senior barista can make adjustments to the grinder.

A tool kit baristas will be required to complete the examination. The slightest change can affect the quality of your espresso enough.

There are 5 variables to prepare the perfect espresso.

Grind weight: you need to measure your weight grinds, to make sure you are correct number of doses needed to pour a perfect shot.

Pour time: Again, you need to measure how long (in time) to pour your espresso before it reaches the correct amount needed for one shot of espresso.

Crema: crema is a key sign of how good your espresso. The quality of crema you will be able to tell you if you pour too fast or too slow, and even if you do not really grinds. You yourself will know the taste if you're a good espresso.
